Undergraduate Thesis - Feasibility of Rainwater Harvesting in Paarden Island
Methodology
The research and analysis for this thesis is split into 3 separate sections with stage 1 being required to be completed first before Stage 2 can commence.
Stage 1: Information Gathering and Assessment
Stage 1 focuses primarily on information gathering and assessing its importance, usefulness and reliability.
Stage 2: Modelling or Analysis of Acquired Information
Once stage 1 has been completed stage 2 can start. Stage 2 focuses on assessing, modelling and analysing the data that was collected in stage 1.
Stage 3: Assessing, Discussing and Evaluating the Modelling Outcomes
The outcomes from stage 2 were then assessed to see how reliable the information was. The information was then evaluated to determine if rainwater harvesting is actually feasible and should be implemented completely, partially or not at all. A discussion was then be held on what the possible steps will be on going forward in the future and giving recommendations.
